Life is all about advancement and reaching the next level. At the moment I am trying to take better steps to prepare for the future opportunities that may present themselves. As I mentioned before, IT is an industry that is always rapidly changing. One moment the application can be housed locally on your machine and 3 months later it can be required for the application to be housed in the cloud because on premie is no longer offered! 

 

In that example I gave above, that is pretty much short notice but by attending conferences and getting newsletters from crediatable sources, upcoming changes can be identity in enough time to plan properly. 

 

With that being said, I just wanted to share with you all some upcoming conferences that I have my eye on! I probably will not be able to attend any of these conferences this time around, but I will plan for next year:

The groundbreaking, revolutionary experience for Black techies, startups and entrepreneurs returns! Come join 6000+ of your fellow founders, entrepreneurs and engineers as we scale our collective power in culture, innovation and tech.


 

Although these are my top picks for conference, remember to just stay positive and continue to educate yourself to move forward. Keep pursuing to become better. I have a wonderful family and friend baseline that keep me motivated and going. Surround yourself with those that want to pour into your future.
